Expanding Healthcare Access in Sierra Leone

In addition to our work in the United States, the Community Health Foundation is proud to extend our commitment to healthcare to Sierra Leone. We recognize that access to quality healthcare is critical to building a stronger, more resilient community, and we are dedicated to addressing this need through our establishment of a health center in Mile 91, a region in the northern part of Sierra Leone. some of the key activities that we provided in Sierra Leone include:

Donations of assorted medical supplies and equipment from the USA to support Hospitals in Sierra Leone. Engaging in medical and food outreach to less privileged people in villages and communities in Sierra Leone. Construction and equipping of a 30-bed capacity Maternal and Child Health Hospital at Mile 91in the Tonkolili District of Sierra Leone. The hospital is fully functional and staffed with experienced and qualified doctors and Nurses and thus contributed to providing access to quality and free healthcare delivery.

In addendum, Linda Muckson Sesay is currently engaged in the construction of a 100 beds capacity hospital at 2 Silicon Hills, Mile 91 Tonkolili District Sierra Leone, as this in essence will help to reduce the number of people who travel out of the country on medical tourism.
